Antony Flew
English analytic and evidentialist philosopher (1923–2010)
Antony Garrard Newton Flew (; 11 February 1923 – 8 April 2010)[1] was an English philosopher. Belonging to the analytic and evidentialist schools of thought, Flew worked on the philosophy of religion. During the course of his career he taught philosophy at the universities of Oxford, Aberdeen, Keele, and Reading in the United Kingdom, and at York University in Toronto, Canada.
For much of his career Flew was an advocate of atheism, arguing that one should presuppose atheism until empirical evidence suggesting the existence of a God surfaces.[2][3][4] He also criticised the idea of life after death,[5] the free will defence to the problem of evil,[6] and the meaningfulness of the concept of God.[7] In 2003, he was one of the signatories of the Humanist Manifesto III.[8] He also developed the No true Scotsman fallacy,[9] and debated retrocausality with Michael Dummett.[10]
However, in 2004 he changed his position, and stated that he now believed in the existence of an intelligent designer of the universe,[11] shocking colleagues and fellow atheists.[11] In order to further clarify h

Abraham A. "Abe" Ace
Abraham Ace, age 32, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 14, 2014. He was born on September 25, 1982 in Appleton, the son of Michael and Suzanne (Cotton) Ace.
Abraham was much loved. He was a talkative born salesman. He was the funniest, the wittiest; the life of the party with the biggest smile & a heart of gold. However, the burden of this life wore on him. He “lived his life as a candle in the wind”.
Abraham is survived by his parents, Michael (Pamela) Ace and Suzanne Cotton; siblings: Angel (Leo) Antencio, Anthony Ace, Ahava (Jerry) Christen, Audra (Freddie) Haas, and Ashton (Elaine) Ace; grandmother, Lois Cotton and best friends, Justin Choudoir and Davi Squair. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The memorial service for Abraham will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior Street in Appleton. His brother Ashton Ace will be officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
