I have confessed my new found love for the rich Bengali Cinema and TV Series in my last post on entertainment to you, all thanks to ZEE5 regional content now easily available online.
My current most favorite romantic drama among the Bengali serials is ‘Krishnakoli’, a heart-touching empowering tale of a dusky girl Shyama, who loves to sing and dance. Her dark skin tone is always a stumbling block in every facet of her life though. Fighting all odds, how she makes a career in music and her cute chemistry with her husband Nikhil are what makes this grand soap opera in Bengali a must-watch.
Now, perhaps why I loved this series on ZEE5 all the more is the impeccable acting by the actors and actresses in it whom I have not known before but I felt a deep urge to know more about them. This happens with many of us when we watch a character and associate our emotions with it. Over a period of time, they start residing in our hearts.
