South Korean star Yoo Ah In denies sexual assault charges, to be questioned by Seoul Police
South Korean actor Yoo Ah In, best known for the 2018 critically acclaimed psychological drama ‘Burning’ is facing sexual assault charges.
According to a report issued by the Seoul Yongsan Police Station, Yoo Ah In allegedly assaulted a man who was sleeping at an officetelin Yongsan-gu on July 14. The victim, who is going by the alias Mr A, is reportedly 30 years old.
A Chosun Daily report stated that the man woke up and realized that he had been a victim of rape and filed a police reportthe following day.
The officetel was not owned by Yoo Ah In or Mr. A, but by a different individual, and other men were present during the incident. The police are also probing whether Yoo Ah In, who is already facing charges for habitual drug use, may have committed the alleged crime while under the influence of substances.
As per a Soompi report, the police have not yet contacted Yoo Ah In, however, they said that they would summon him for questioning.
